I am on the second day of my experiment in doing without my mobile phone.

I don't get out much these days and don't have to commute. So my mobile phone has been getting less voice usage and I wondered if I could get away with powering it off entirely. I already make business calls using my iPod Touch using either Line2 or Viber and so voice is covered.

If this works out, I will retire my gen-2 Touch and get a new iPod Touch. My niece got one for Christmas and I like the fact that it now has a camera.
